Sinergia was established in Tarija, Bolivia, in 2010 as a rescue center for both domestic and wild animals to provide a temporary home for domestic animals awaiting adoption or a permanent home for those not adoptable and a permanent home for exotic animals rescued from zoos or private individuals who cannot or will not care for them.

Our facility currently houses domestic dogs and cats as well as jaguars and cougars.

Our Mission is to establish a harmonious relationship between animals, humankind, and nature through the creation of an animal rescue center and educational programs.

We are in the process of applying for nonprofit 501 (c) 3 status.
